Jody McIntyre (born 1990) is a British journalist who is physically disabled from cerebral palsy. He gained notability after being pulled out of his wheelchair twice by the Metropolitan Police during the 2010 UK student protests.[1] The second incident was caught on video and went viral on YouTube.[2] An interview with McIntyre about the incident by BBC journalist Ben Brown on 13 December 2010[3] was described by The Guardian newspaper as "having a distinct lack of sympathy from the BBC" and that the incident had "attracted thousands of complaints."[4]
