Keith Haslam is the majority shareholder (via a holding company called Stags Ltd) and CEO (and also ex-chairman) of Mansfield Town. Haslam amassed personal and inter-company loans of over £1,000,000 at their peak.[1] It is understood that he still owes the club part of the value of his personal loan, and he refuses to consider the paying back of the inter-company loan as important to the football club.[2]
On 26 April 2008 Haslam was attacked, he was punched and kicked by his own fans, he later required hospital treatment.
