Boogie Love is the second single to come from Alexz Johnson's debut album Voodoo. "Boogie Love (Remix)" was released on January 11, 2011 digitally and mixed by Demo Castiliion for Johnson's upcoming remix album, unofficially titled "Voodoo: Reloaded".

On December 22, Johnson told her fans through her fan mailing list and official website, that the first single from her remix album would be "Boogie Love" - the same day she announced filming had ended for the music video.[1][2] On January 11, 2011, the video was officially released.[3] On her website, Johnson explained why Boogie Love became the next single: "When I heard what Demo was doing with "Boogie Love" in the early stages, I was really blown away with where he chose to take it. Music is about taking chances and having fun.. and to me, "Boogie Love" does exactly that. Hope you like it as much as I do!".[4]
