The film world premiered at the AFI Fest where Variety singled it out as one of the films to watch. The film was acquired by Showtime and enjoyed a broad domestic and international DVD release.

In addition, Lee has also directed/edited music videos for Taz Arnold of Sa-Ra, Substance Abuse, and Kool Keith; MAKING THE VIDEO: T.I. for MTV; an award-winning commercial for FIVE FOUR; featurettes for television shows LIE TO ME and MEDIUM; and a number of short docs for Current TV including WALE, HAN CHOLO, and ALOE BLACC.
Lee was also recently featured in Paper Magazine’s 10th Annual Beautiful People issue, highlighting him as one of the filmmakers to watch. In addition, Lee has been featured in Variety, Hollywood Reporter, GQ, LA Weekly, 944, URB, and Koream; appeared on the WB and KJLA, as well as radio stations KCRW, KXLU, and KUCI. He was a fellow for Film Independent’s Project: Involve program, as well as KOFIC’s (Korean Film Council) Filmmaker Development Lab, where Lee was named winner and his script WINTER WAR was given the Best Project Award, along with a cash grant.
Lee graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara Film Theory program, and cut his creative teeth at Lionsgate. He formed Calico Works in 2002; Lee’s first scripted comedy series THE CLINIC, starring Joe Hursley, is exclusively on Hulu. He’s also working on SKIDZ w/ Paul Rodriguez Jr; reality projects with JUSTIN GLORY, BEN BALLER, NICK DIAMOND, and more.
