Ronald B. Bruder Ronald B. Bruder ^[1]^[2]^[3] is the founder of Education for Employment (EFE)^[4]^[5], a network of locally-run non-profit organizations dedicated to creating economic opportunities for unemployed youth. EFE was founded on the belief that when young people have satisfying jobs and the hope of building a future, they help lay the foundation for secure and peaceful societies. The network currently operates in the Middle East and North Africa - the region with the world's highest youth unemployment rate. Through powerful and unique partnerships with business, government, education, and civic leaders in each country of operation, EFE designs tailor-made professional and vocational training programs that give unemployed young people the specific skills necessary to get and keep a job.^[6] Upon completion of training, EFE graduates are placed in jobs with employer partners. Graduates receive ongoing support through mentoring and alumni networks. Prior to founding EFE – to which he now dedicates all of his professional time - Mr. Bruder was a serial entrepreneur mainly focused on real estate development. In 1977, he founded The Brookhill Group ^[7] which owns and manages properties throughout the US. In 1990, Brookhill began acquiring environmentally contaminated properties, inventing a new methodology to redevelop those properties that enabled the company to limit the risk associated with environmental clean-up costs. Mr. Bruder also founded companies in the oil, medical technology, and travel industries. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration / Finance from New York University, a Post Master's degree in Accounting & Taxation from Iona College and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Adelphi University. Mr. Bruder is a member of the Board of Advisors of The Lighthouse International^[8].
