"What Is Love" is a dance track by the singer Haddaway. This song has been popular amongst dance hall DJs. This song became a one-hit wonder and was recorded in the early 90's. It is most famous as the song from the Saturday Night Live Roxbury sketches. The music video featured clips from Metropolis.
The song, coupled with the SNL sketches has also become a meme on the imageboard 4chan. This sketch is also often parodied on YTMND.
