Markus Estrada also known as markus cromwell and markus with a k is the guitarist/songwriter and co-founder of the alternative hard rock band Cromwell (redefined records/universal). Born June 13th 1984 in Los Angeles California under the name markus begnt estrada he is the first born american citizen to his swedish mother and Mexican father. He was raised and grew up in Rialto California. Markus began Playing piano when he was 4 years old and picked up guitar in 1995 at the age of 11. markus is most notable for his song writing contributions and live performance as well as artwork and design for Cromwell since it's conception in 2003. In early 2011 markus Estrada contributed guitars and wrote alongside Otep Shamaya (Otep) and producer Ulrich wild (deftones, static x, Otep) on the otep release Atavist (victory records). Markus is currently finishing up writing and pre production for cromwell's newest release as of yet still untitled due out summer 2011 as well as several other projects on the way. |
