"Tony (North American Skins)"

"Tony" is the first episode of North American teen drama adaptation of the British series of the same name, Skins. It was written by Bryan Elsley and directed by Scott Smith.

Plot Synopsis

This episode starts with Tony waking up in his room as if it was just any other day. Almost as if it was the usual he sees his younger sister Eura, who has makeup running down her face, waiting outside. He distracts his father while his sister can get inside right after he watches a lady in the house across the street undress. Tony continues to irritate his father by locking him out of the bathroom and exiting through the window, leaving the door locked.
On his way to high school Tony begins collaborating on the phone with his friends how to get his best friend, Stanley Lucerne, to lose his virginity. Tony and Stanley then meet up after Sociology class to discuss going to a party to help Stanley lose his virginity. Stanley assumes he will get to have sex with Tony's girlfriend, the beautiful Michelle and it is revealed that Sid is madly attracted to her. Stanley assumed wrong and Tony and Michelle began to make out in front of Stanley. Tony then tells Stanley he will be having sex with Cadie and that he will need to score an ounce of bud for the party.
Stanley goes down to the Life Skills classroom where he is told he can meet Cadie Campbell. Upon entering the room he sees many vegetables carved in the shape of a phallus and many knives hanging from the ceiling. Cadie then tells Stanley a story about how she hung her pet from the ceiling once just to watch it spin. The two then discuss having sex at the party. Cadie says she loves really good narcotics.
Tony auditions for the all girls school Edith Damp's chamber choir and succeeds in getting the part. he then flirts with a private school girl named Tabitha and agrees to attend her house party with his friends. Most of his friends, however, have other plans. His friends Abbud, Chris, and Daisy are planning on attending their friend Tea's all lesbian party. Tony finds out that the town is awash with bud and tries to call Stanley to tell him not to buy the drugs but Stanley is not picking up.
Stanley is at the dealer's house where he is greeted by mister Madison Mao Le Dong. Stanley asks if he could buy the drugs on credit but is forced into buying four ounces instead of one. Stanley is told he has 48 hours to pay Madison nine-hundred dollars cash or else his balls were his collateral.
Tony, Stanley, Michelle, and Cadie arrive at Tabitha's party. Inside the house they regrettably find out they can sell the weed to the rich kids because she won't allow smoking in her house due to her new expensive wallpaper. Tony and Michelle do a little dirty dancing to enjoy the affluent and very dull party. < br /> Stanley and Cadie talk outside on the trampoline. They began to kiss but stop due to Cadie knowing Stanley has feelings for Michelle. She then tells him they can have sex but he would have to be quick due to she took a bus load of pills and was about to pass out.
While they talk, the other kids arrive having found big gay night out boring. While Chris dirties the floor, the posh kids gang up on the crew causing a fight. The fight is broken up as Stanley runs in with an unconscious Cadie. They steal a car and drive Cadie to the city hospital, where Cadie wakes, seemingly fine. The crew then drive to the bay. While parked, Stanley accidentally hits the car's handbrake while searching for Skins in Tony's back pocket. The car rolls into the bay. Everyone leaves safely but they lost the four ounces of weed.
