Jerseylicious is an American reality television series airing on the Style Network that follows employees of the newly renovated Gatsby Salon. The Gatsby Salon relaunched with a multimillion dollar renovation [1] and began hiring new employees in 2009 which included series cast members Tracy DiMarco and Olivia Blois Sharpe.[2] The producers began casting for the series in 2008.[3] Gatsby Salon owner Gayle Giacomo received a call back and production began in October 2009.[4]

Premise

The series follows the personal and professional lives of the owners and several hair stylists and make-up artists in New Jersey who work in the Gatsby Salon.[5] The theme song of Jerseylicious is sung by the cast member Olivia. Style Network has posted footage of Olivia recording the official song on YouTube.[6]

Production for season 1 began in October 2008 and the series began airing March 13, 2010 at 9.30 p.m on the Style Network. The series debut episode garnered 3,000 total viewers and posted a 0.42 rating with in the women 18-to-76 demographic.[7]
