Tamagoyaki 卵焼き (literally 'grilled egg', also called tamago or dashimaki) is a type of Japanese omelette, which is made by rolling together several layers of cooked egg. After making the first roll it is common that the egg is pushed back to the end of the pan, then more of the egg mixture is added and the roll is continually rolled to the desired size.
