==Overview==
Headquartered in Reno, Nevada, the Washoe County Democratic Party is responsible for publicizing the platform of the county Democratic Party, the affiliate of the United States and Democratic Democratic Parties. According to the party charter, the State Committee is charged with conducting state-level campaigns for the Democratic Party, coordinating efforts to fill vacancies in nominating candidates to state and congressional offices, and creating and disseminating information regarding official Democratic Party policies and positions. The Committee also engages in fundraising initiatives to support its operations, and coordinates local caucuses and the Democratic State Conventions.

The Washoe County Central Committee comprises 1105 elected members, all of whom must be registered Democrats. Current Executive Board members are elected by a vote of the Central Committee members in April of odd numbered years. Current Executive Board members include Chris Wicker, Chair; Alison Gauldin, Vice-Chair; Matt Dickson, Treasurer; Marsy Kupfersmith, Secretary and Sandy Rodriguez, At Large Member. Amy Curtis-Webber is the Washoe County Democratic Party Executive Director and has served since 2007.
