Tim Andrews (born 1960 in Sussex) is a studio potter and David Leach's most successful apprentice.
Having first trainned with David 1978-79, he then studied at Dartington[1] and set up his own studio in 1981 only to return to share the workshop at Lowerdown with Daivd 1986-93.He now has a very successful studio at Woodbury in Devon.
Tim has gainned an international reputation for his distinctive smoked-fired and Raku ceramics along with increasing respect as an author on Raku and its leading makers.
His pieces are found in both public and private collections and are exhibited widely across the UK and abroad.
