Bjarne Rise (1904 – 1984) was a Norwegian painter.

He was born in Minneapolis. He studied under Axel Revold at the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts in 1927, 1932 and 1933, and then under Georg Jacobsen from 1935 to 1936.[1] He was also influenced by Vilhelm Bjerke-Petersen.[2] He is best known for his altarpieces and wooden reliefs. His work is displayed in several churches, and the National Gallery of Norway owns one of his wooden reliefs and eight paintings.[1]
