NON Reocrds began as a collaborative effort headed by Bear Damen, with an interest in creating electronic music for an international audience. In 2010 Damen and several like-minded friends created a single unit company in his home in Amsterdam, which also served as the recording studio for initial releases. In addition to being an artist, Bear also produces many of the label's releases and designs artwork with several other graphic designers under the name 'Unknown User'.
