Proposal to rename this article back to "Rockwell International"

From what I read from this article, this article is talking about the conglomate Rockwell International which, according to its ending, "no longer exists." ArvinMeritor is merely one of its spinoffs and have no standing to be the name of the article. I propose the article to be renamed Rockwell International.

  • I absolutely disagree. ArvinMeritor has close to 30,000 employees in various countries worldwide. It's headquarters is in Troy MI and it has various offices and plants in the U.S. The automotive portion of Rockwell was spun off, but Rockwell still exists too. ArvinMeritor is not Rockwell and vice versa so renaming this article would not be encyclopedic, and it would no longer have any factual relevance. --Lorraine LeBeau 17:41, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'd like to add that it's not just the US - ArvinMeritor is a world-wide company. In fact one of the largest Automotive suppliers in the world.
