Plot
“Frozen Ground” is based on the true-life story of Alaskan detective Glenn Flothe (Nicolas Cage) who sets out to end the murderous rampage of Robert Hansen (John Cusack), a serial killer who has gone unnoticed for 13 years. As the bodies of street girls start to add up in Anchorage, fear strikes a chord with the public. Detective Flothe goes on a personal manhunt to find the killer and risks his life to find him before the next body surfaces. Roy Hazelwood (Richard Schiff) is brought in to assist the investigation as a criminal psychologist and with him Detective Flothe try to understand who Robert Hansen is and how he thinking and in that case try to get a step before the killer. When Cindy Paulson (Vanessa Hudgens) a seventeen year old escapee comes running to the law, Detective Flothe finally finds his lead and nears his killer. But will he catch him in time to save the next victim?
