Valiveru Village has so many years of history from past. Lalita Swayambuveswara Swami temple has 200 years of history. Main occupation of most of the people in the village is farming and cultivation, where they mainly cultivate paddy, lemon, maize, bananas etc., and sell them in surrounding markets in Tenali and Guntur. Rice is also transported to other states in the country. Most of the present generation Youth of the village are educated and well settled as per there career.

Geographical Location

Valiveru is a village in Tsundur mandal of Guntur District in Andhra Pradesh. It is located at a distance of 9km from Tenali and 6km from Mandal Head Quarters and 22km from District Headquarters. The nearest railway stations are Tsundur and Tenali. Buses will be running from Tenali and there are Auto-Rickshaws running till late nights. Pin Code of the village is 522-211. Valiveru is under Vemuru Assembly Constitution and Bapatla Parliament Constitution. Nearest Police station is Tsundur and Tenali.

  • Kalyana Mandapam (Emani Vari Sita Rama Kalyana Mandapam built with co-operation of villagers and maintained by Emani Surname Families).
  • Bank (Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank established in late 90's serving villagers and also surrounding village people with several loans and schemes at low interest rate).
  • Water Supply (There is continuous water supply to the houses in the village from past 30 years, this programme was started by Tamma Seshireddy a famous leader of the village ).
  • Milk Center (Popularly known as Pala kendram, which fetch milk from the village and send to Sangam Dairy, Hotels from past 30 years).

Education

  • St Anne's English Medium Missionary School
It is maintained and operated by the Sisters of Bangalore from past 25 years and it is from LKG to SSC. It is affiliated to ap state govt. Hundreds of students passed out from this school and well settled in the society. Main objective of the school is to promote a quality education to rural people in surrounding villages.
  • Govt Primary Schools
There are three govt Primary schools in the village from class 1 to 6 which is maintained by the state govt.
  • Sai Master Tution
Sai master is well known maths teacher working in ZPH and st.anne's school. This tution maintained by him is well disciplined with set of rules. Many students come here for doubts in Maths and other subjects. It is located adjacent to Post Office.
  • Prasad Master Tution
Prasad Master is also a well known teacher in the village working in govt primary school. Students having doubts in Physics and also other group subjects come here to clarify there doubts. It is located near to Tungabadra River Canal.
  • Madhu Master Tution
It is als a well reputed tution in the village where most of the students of primary classes come here because of the well care taken by the management.

Culture & Major Festivals

There are temples like Shivalaayam (pedda gudi), Raamalayam, Poleramma gudi, Venugopala swamy temple (chinna gudi), Vinayaka gudi etc., having a spiritual atmosphere at the premises of these Temples. All the festivals are celebrated in a traditional way and of all "Ganesh Chaturthi" is the major festival which will be celebrated in a great manner from the olden days with lot of efforts and co-operation from all the people in the village.
