Would anybody be able to accurately provide me with the total number of mobile phone subscribers there are in Jersey and what percentage penetration that represents of the permanent population of Jersey? pls advise alistair.swain@ezipin.com.au
- I have tried to have a quick check, but all I could find is that it has 13% of the mobile market in Guernsey though its sub, Wave Telecom. Telecom is a full blown monopoly on the baliwick so it has 100% of all the mobiles on the island.159753 07:23, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- I doubt it still has 100% of the market in Jersey anymore. Although the number is still probably over 90%. Sure seem to be making inroads very quickly. Last report I saw suggested there are more than 100,000 mobile phones in use in Jersey. Upyourego 15:35, 06 November 2006 (GMT)
