Henry Lundy (born January 3, 1984 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American boxer in the Lightweight division.[1]
Amateur career
His record was 65–5 in the amateurs. Lundy was the Silver medalist in the 2005 National Golden and was the junior lightweight open champ at the Middle Atlantic Championships and East Central Regionals.[2]
Pro career
On April 16, 2010 Henry defeated the undefeated Tyrese Hendrix in a ten round fight by unanimous decision.[3] Hammerin Hank Lundy[4] lost his first fight by eleventh round T.K.O. to the Mexican American and WBO NABO Lightweight Champion, John Molina jr.[5] Before the fight Lundy would call out Molina jr. for being just a dumb fighter.[6] Lundy threw a "back-hand" punch, and then grabbed the ropes as he was getting hit by Molina's left hooks. After the bout ESPN announcer, Teddy Atlas referred to Henry as being the only Idiot in the Ring.[7]
