SHAKIB KHAN (bangla:শাকিব খান or সাকিব খান, born 28 march 1983) is a bangla film actor. His original name is Musud Rana. His debut as hero in the film "Anntho Bhalobash" which was not able to make him popular. His debut film as " Amar Shopno Tumi" directed by Mizan, it was very successful at the box-office. He was born in Narayangaj.

From an earlier time he was enthusiastic about dancing and started taking dancing lessons. Besides dancing he is also skilled in martial arts. One day he came to FDC(Film Development Corporation) and fortunately met a photographer who took some pictures of him. The following day when Shakib went back to collect the pictures, one film director surprised him by offering him the protagonist role in a film. He made his debut in Shonor Rahaman Sohan's “anonto valobasha” in 1999.<ref name="bdtalks1"/>
