Small revision needs to note that the company moved from Washington, D.C., to Vienna, VA (not McLean as indicated). I know firsthand, as I worked at the 8229 Boone Blvd. office in Vienna/Tysons Corner office in the bowels of the computer room from 1984-1987, then moved on to other various positions with the company during my 20-year career there. It was a wonderful time to be part of the information technology boom! This system was very easy to hack due to in-band signaling. Is the related information appropriate for this article? All in good fun, Mr Berkowitz. :-D The security holes are interesting from a historical perspective to avoid future protocols implementing similar defects. Revision as of 03:13, 6 March 2012

Preliminary update

I was network management architect for Telenet, just before and after the GTE acquisition. Unfortunately, very little network documentation is online, although I'll try to find some manuals after unpacking from a move. Howard C. Berkowitz 03:32, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
