A good place to experience adventure
Gungolding is an old village – it is about a thousand years old. Even the Romans built an important road through this small town. Today Gungolding is a sleepy little village. But for tourists it is a big adventure. They can go for a walk in the “Wachholderheide”. And another great attraction: The Indian teepee hamlet. There you can live like an Indian. For example, you can light a fire in the old Indian way and you can sleep in a real teepee. The Altmuehl is a river which goes through the center of the town. Many people have boats or canoes and they sometimes go on a trip.
