'''Carlos Alvarado Lang''' (b. [[La Piedad de Cabadas]], January 14, 1905 – d. [[Mexico City]], September 3, 1961) was a [[Mexico|Mexican]] [[printmaker]].

Alvarado Lang studied printmaking under [[Emiliano Valadéz]] at the [[Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes]] (ENBA) in Mexico City. In 1929 he followed Emiliano Valadéz on his chair. After the course offer of the ENBA was expanded in 1930, he got the chair of [[engraving]]. From 1942 to 1949 he was director of the ENBA.

Posthumously his works were exhibited at the [[Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado "La Esmeralda"]], in the [[Museo de Arte Moderno]], the museum of the [[Palacio de Bellas Artes]] and in further notable institutions.<ref>[http://www.fomentar.com/Mexico/PintoresMex/?codigo=10&inicio=0 ''Alvarado Lang Carlos''] (Spanish).</ref>
