Miss Stone (Macedonian: Мис Стоун) is a Macedonian 1958 historical film, directed by Živorad Mitrovik and tells the story about the Miss Stone Affair.

Plot

The plot of the film is set in 1901, and it is based on real events. In Macedonia the growing resistance against the Ottoman Empire. Numerous Macedonian bands "Komiti" testify to the readiness of the Macedonian people to fight for their freedom. At the same time different religious missions are trying to expand its influence among the people. Thessaloniki is the center of the American Protestant mission in Macedonia. Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (ВМРО Внатрешна Македонска Револуционарна Организација) did the abduction of U.S. Protestant missionary Miss Stone (Olga Spiridonovikj) by Yane Sandanski ( Ilija Milcin ) and his unit. For purchase of Miss Stone requested that 25.000 pounds of gold squad of Yane Sandanski necessary for her arms. However, this request should be signed by Miss Stone. She flatly refuses to do this, but after going through several battles with Turkish asker water, stands on the side of guerrillas and signed the letter, whose requirements are eventually satisfied.he letter, whose requirements are eventually satisfied.
