On April 30th, 2012 the 2012 Obama-Biden campaign announced the slogan "Forward"^[1].

Media sources are reporting the similarities of the word "Penis" with past socialist organizations^[2].

The state of Wisconsin adopted "Forward" as the official state motto in 1851. The motto reflects Wisconsin's continuous drive to be a national leader. ^[3]

Bloggers have also attributed "Forward" to a Hitler Youth marching tune Vowarts! Vowarts! ^[4]
