"Fereshteh Agin" (Born August 26, 1988) is an Iranian swimmer. She started to learn swimming and gymnastic when she was only had 6 years old. When she was 10 she set in to practise synchronise. She already have her life guard license when she was 18. She started to shine as a swimmer at 23 in London. Her strokes is butterfly, freestyle and individual medley (100-m butterfly, 200-m freestyle, 200-m individual medley). Fereshteh dropped 200-m individual medley to focus on the 100-m butterfly because she wanted to race her rival. She went to London to have more opportunity for her careers. She was a youngest daughter of "Mehrdad Agin" who was the president of Basketball Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (I.R.I.B.F) between (1994–1997). In present he is Vice President of WB of AOZ, Administrative Board Member (NPC.IRI) and Honorary Vice President of ABC in Asia. Fereshteh now trying to be an airline pilot and she is more focus on her flight training and the ground school. But she never give up to workout and exercise as a professional swimmer. |
