History

Beginnings

After being discovered by Ben Brazil in 2002 backstage at a No Doubt concert at Festival Hall, CC cut a two track demo with local Melbourne producer Adam Friedman and started performing tiny underground gigs around Melbourne. In 2004 CC made a 5 track EP with Melbourne producer Kent Morris featuring tracks co-written with friend Tiffany Kommedal. CC signed a distribution deal to Shock Records in January 2005 after being scouted at a Dangerfield / Indie Initiative sponsored Christmas party show at the Prince Of Wales Hotel. CC teamed up with DJ/Producer Chris Coe and released the leading single My Bush Would Make A Better President off his debut album Seige Mentality in 2006.[4] CC released her debut album All The Way! in May 2008. After making a video for the debut single Champagne Taste with director Duke Dinh, CC's record contract was upgraded and in early 2006 she signed a licensing deal to release her LP on Shock Records' sub-label Public Opinion.
