After being discovered by Ben Brazil in 2002 backstage at a [[No Doubt]] concert at Festival Hall, CC cut a two track demo with local Melbourne producer Adam Friedman and started performing tiny underground gigs around Melbourne. In 2004 CC made a 5 track [[Extended Play|EP]] with Melbourne producer Kent Morris featuring tracks co-written with friend Tiffany Kommedal. CC signed a distribution deal to [[Shock Records]] in January 2005 after being scouted at a Dangerfield / Indie Initiative sponsored Christmas party show at the Prince Of Wales Hotel.
