Rich Gallup started at GameSpot as an intern, but his incredible creativity over the years has earned him the position of Features Editor for GameSpot's video and audio productions. He is the inspiration behind some of GameSpot's most popular multimedia features including:
- On The Spot -- a weekly game-related magazine show which he also hosts
- Button Mashing -- a videogame gameshow where players compete in a series of challenges
- Time Trotters -- a weekly science-fiction / comedy series staring Gallup, Ryan Davis, and Jeff Gerstmann
- The Hotspot -- a weekly audio podcast discussing the latest news in the gaming industry
