Two Topics

I think that the military bit should be on this page, and the cable bit be added to a new page: Coaxial_Cable. Does anyone else agree? Lewispb 23:08, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, the page should be split. The geometric definition should be under one article, with the cable part under it, and a new page be added: Coaxial_Machine_Gun.That's just my opinion.
Agree, they should be split - but I propose
  • Coaxial (weapon) - Since not all coaxial weapons are machine guns. The BMP-3 has a coaxial 30 mm cannon, as well as a coaxial 7.62mm machine gun.
  • Coaxial (cable)
  • Coaxial - with the mathematic meaning. Since this is the term from which the others are derived.
  • Coaxial (disambiguation) - with the disambig links.

Sounds like a good idea to me, however the details on each subject are a bit slim for three full entries. If they're split some additional information could be put in (like Megapixie's information about the BMP-3's coaxial guns).
