Ghazala Javed is a Pukhtu singer from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. She was the leader of a resurgence of female singers in the province after a period of Taliban intimidation.[1] She was nominated for a Filmfare Award in 2010 and received a Khyber Award in 2011.[citation needed].She has Shot dead on June 18th, 2012 along with her father ,by unknown men in dabgariPeshawar ,the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan .
