Talk:Operation Jackpot

In operation Jackpot,in Operation Paragraph I have noticed factual errors.I know about this operation categorically. I have sufficent prove about the operation,like jopurnal,books etc. and if necessary I shall be a witness of the fact. I have tried to eidt the mistakes several times but again and again these were deleted very quickly.In operation paragraph it is said that Submariner Mr.Ahsanullah's led the Mongla Operation. This is false.Submariner Ahsanullah was not among the list of 60 Commondoes who were choosen for Mongla port operation on 15th August,1971. So question does not arrise about his leading the operation.He was not with the group of 60 Naval Commandos and 200 C&C Commandos,Who started their journey from Port Canning Matler for Monglaport on 28th Aug,1971. The fact are as follows:

Commandos who were choosen for Mongla operation and were brought from Pallasy to Brackpur Cantonment and from there they were brought to Port Canning Matler for final Briefing and command giving meetting. This particular meetting were attained by Lt.Gen.Ganjit Singh Aurora,Brigadier.Gen. Salik,the then Brigade Commander of Brackpur Cantonment,3 Army Officers of Indian Army and Regional Director of then then Calcutta Radio Center. The C&C Special trained commandos were stationed there before the Naval 7Commandos arrived at Port canning Matler. At about 3-30 on 27th July 1971,The above said Indian Officers arrived by two helicopters. Then Naval Commando no 0069,Aminur Rahman,Khosru was called from his tent to the Briefing and command giving meetting. He was the only Bangladeshi who was called in that meetting and were informed about the warnning song and action songs which are to be played during the time of operation.He was handed over 2 Transistors and he was introduced to C&C and Naval commandos as commander of Monglaport by Lt.Ge.G.S.Aurora.It was also told by Lt.Gen.G.S.Aurora that as per the command of Aminur,Rahman,Khosru the operation of Mongla port will be executed and it the decession of both Bangldesh and Indian Military high Command. Then the country boats started for Monglaport at 5-30 P.M on 28th July1971.Through Sundarban the whole group reached on 12th August 1971 at about 6-30 P.M. at Dhangmari(Marshy Area) backside of Mongla port (Bania Shanta).The commandos took Shelter in a Zaminder House which was left.It was a two storied building. The necessary informations were collected going to port.There were in total 13 Ships in the port.And Pakistan Army Bunkers were other side of the port.on 14th August 1971,Wornning song was played from Calcutta Radio Center B. On 15th August Night Action Song was played.At abot 11-30 P.M. Commandoes and C&C Commandos started by boat to Mongla port for operation. But due to the marker Afzals wrong Guiedence Commandos arrived at port at about 4-30 A.M.It was too late.The planned time of arrival was with in 1 A.M.to 2 A.M.There was no other alternative than to take a quick and fast decession. It was deceided by the Commander Aminur Rahman,Khosru and the Commanders of C&C Commando Mr.Raja(An ex Patty Officer of Pakistan Navy) and Mr.Khijir quickly that commanods shall attack only 8 Ships.Accordingly 24 Commandos were divided in 8 groups,in each group there were 3 commandos.These 24 commandos tried to attack 8 ships but due to the shortage of time 2 groups could not reach to the targeted ships as they were on the otherside of the river.As a matter of fact 6 ships were attacked(Means commandos put 3 Limpet Mines to each ship and with one hour delay was given to each limpet mine).Commander of operation Aminur Rahman,Khosru along with Lolit Kumar Patil and commando Mohsin destroyed the U.S.Ship S.S.Lightenning in this operation. The commandos pressed the delay switch at 5-30 A.M.The cable which ties the ships with the Anchorage post are to be cut down either in order to sink the ships through downwards tied horizontally to destroy the port for years together. And special demulation charger were given to mini group leaders whoes job was also to put cable cutting explosives with eacb cable tied up with achorage post. It was a very risky job as one has to jump in order to catch the cable and then climb on the Anchorage post and then put the cable cutting charge as dawn was approaching,there were fare possibilities that commandos could be seen from distance. Although it did not rain on the operation mornning but,it was raining continiously for last 5 days.The sky was cloudy. At about 6 A.M. to 6.20 A.M. Commandos started returnning from river PASSURE after putting mines to ships.All the Naval Commandos return safely to R.B.(Return Back)Post which was at a left school opposite to Bania Shanta.From 6-30 A.M. Mines started to burst as well as cable cutting charge started to brust either.The Pakistan Airforce came with Aeroplane on the port. The commandos took the picture from R.B of the dameged ships. It is true after the operation 12 Naval commandos were sent to destroy the Radio Microwave Transmitter of Khulna City.Among whom Sirajul Islam,Aftabuddin and other were caught by Rajakars near budhata river and were brutally tortured by rajakars and later killed.About remaing 9 commandos there were no further information received.

This is that real histry of Mongla Attack on 15th AUgust 1971.Here Submariner Ahsanullah was not present.Nor he was among the list of 60 Commandos.One who will lie with the histry of Freedom fight he will lie with lives of 3 Million People who were killed by Pakistani Army and two hundred thousand women who were raped by Pakistan soldiers too. like this particular lie many lieing with the liberation histry will not remain in dark.This shall come out one day.
