Adam Latiff (born March, 24,1979) is a lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist for many bands, most notable for Puddle of Mudd, born in Orlando, Florida started his career in progressive rock, rockabilly, and reggae bands such as Devereux, S.W.A.T.T, and Drunk Horses Make Slow Gateways. Influenced by the Seattle 90’s bands, started his own Nirvana tribute band, called Heart Shaped Box, which is still active. Early life
[1] He was friends with Puddle of Mudd’s former lead guitarist, Paul Phillips whom he knows from the Jacksonville, Florida local music scene, when Wesley Scantlin discovered that he has problems with singing and playing guitar at the same time, they decided to hire a rhythm guitarist for the band, and Adam was their most suitable option.
He has formed his relationship with Puddle of Mudd due to letting Paul Phillips join his and Damien Starkey’s side project, Society Red.
Influences
He was influenced by groups such as Pink Floyd, Thin Lizzy, Foo Fighters, and Nirvana, the main guitarists who have influenced him are David Gilmour, Kurt Cobain, BB King, and Eric Clapton.

Puddle of Mudd
Adam has joined Puddle of Mudd in 2011, following the departure of drummer Ryan Yerdon, Wesley Scantlin had problems performing vocals and playing rhythm at the same time, due to Adam’s participation with the then lead guitarist, Paul Phillips in Adam's side project, Society Red, they hired him as a rhythm guitarist, and is currently working with them on a double album and a re-release of “Stuck” and “Abrasive”.
Society Red
He has formed this band with drummer Brad Moxey, the former lead guitarist and the former bassist of Puddle of Mudd, Paul Phillips and Damien Starkey respectively have later joined the band.
