It's best to wait ''at least'' 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should ''not'' be marked as [[Wikipedia:New pages patrol/patrolled pages|patrolled]]. Attack pages ([[WP:CSD#G10|G10]]), blatant nonsense ([[WP:CSD#G1|G1]]), pure vandalism ([[WP:CSD#G3|G3]]), and copyright violations ([[WP:CSD#G12|G12]]) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. :::Thank you for the kind offer. However this was a simple case of me making a mistake. This will happen from time to time as I am not a robot, but rather a human. In this specific case, I was using twinkle to do maintenance tags on [[WP:NPP]]. I came across this page and found the words "going to be edit" as the only contents. Lately I have been trying to give these kinds of pages a chance as I don't want to bite the new contributor and discourage them from creating a page. So the last thing I do before patrolling is check when it was created and by who. I do this because if I get to a page which has had content like this with no improvement for at least 2 hours, then I tend to apply the CSD's. In this case, the name of the author was the same name as the article. In my experience, I have never found a situation that DID NOT result in the page being deleted when the author created a page for themselves. In some circumstances, I have even seen editors being blocked for this. Albeit this is more extreme, but never the less. Anyways, then I went to use my twinkle function and tried to create a rationale for deleting the page. The best I thought that was applicable given that their was 3 words, was to tag the the article with a CSD template which had my own reasoning. When I did this, I didn't realize that I had left the CSD realm. I'm sorry, as I made the mistake. Other than this, I have made some pretty good CSD nominations and continued those same policies in AFD and PROD. However it was very generous and kind of you to leave a nice message like that.
