Hello. I originally uploaded this image to replace File:Cambridge University Crest.svg, as that one is incorrectly rendered (and also mis-tagged/sumarized, from what I can tell - it's a tracing of another version that claims to be under a creative commons license). I was under the impression that the general consensus is that logos and other things which are to represent entities on their own pages should be accurate and so I am not sure if it's replaceable (with the given image). Delete The source is the pictures area of the facebook account of a user by the same name as the uploader. Such sources have no proof of copyright ownership. Unless some form of proof is provided, whether this picture is later used or not, it is likely to be a breach of some unnamed person's copyright and needs to go. I believe the plaque dates to 1917, so even if the text was copyrighted, the copyright has expired. Also, if I'm not mistaken, until the 1976 Copyright Act, a copyright notice was required to claim copyright, which this plaque does not include. Finally, as a pragmatic matter, it seems unlikely that Amtrak (the successor of the railroads) or the American Bridge Co. would object. --Macrakis (talk) 16:33, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
