Toni Garrido stars as Orfeu, Patrícia França as Eurídice and Murilo Benício as Lucinho.

Synopsis Part The myth of Orpheus brings together the main themes of the poetic work of Vinicius: the alliance between music and poetry, the remarkable presence of women, the obsession with death and faith in absolute love. Vinicius de Moraes moved to the slums, a carnival holiday, the love story of tragic ending of Orpheus and Eurydice. In the musical, Orpheus, a samba singer who lives on the hill, the son of a musician and a laundress, falls in love with Eurydice. The passion between Orpheus and Eurydice awakens jealousy and desire for revenge in Mira, a former girlfriend of samba, which leads Aristaeus, in love with Eurydice, to kill her. In a Tuesday, last day of Carnival, Orpheus descends the hill and goes to the club The Rat Pack Eurydice from Hell after being killed. Already insane, he will look to see his beloved Eurydice, try to find it again. Back in the slums, lonely, he is killed by Mira and the other women açuladas for it.
