Roshni Karwal is a Singaporean journalist, television and radio presenter and executive producer. She has worked with the BBC in London, CNBC Asia, MTV Asia, the United Nations headquarters in New York and most recently with Channel News Asia based in Singapore.

She became the first woman of Sri Lankan descent to present on MTV and CNBC and was voted one of Singapore's 50 Most Beautiful People.

Some of the landmarks in her journalism career include live coverage of Sept 11th from Ground Zero in New York in 2001, the Hong Kong hand-over in 1997, the 1998 presidential elections and attempted assassination of then President Chandrika Kumaratunga in Sri Lanka, the 2008 Clinton Global Initiative and coverage of the UN General Assembly, the 2010 earthquake and tsunami in Japan, the 2010 Singapore and Indian budgets and celebrity interviews with Alanis Morisette, Shabana Azmi and Hootie & The Blowfish as well as financial, business and world leaders.

Roshni holds a Master of Science from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism (New York), where she was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar; a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the American University of Paris (France) and an International Baccalaureate from the United World College of South East Asia (Singapore). She is fluent in French. She is an ardent animal rights activist and vegetarian.
