She is fluent in French. She is an ardent animal rights activist and vegetarian.

Roshni Karwal is a Singaporean journalist, television and radio presenter and executive producer. She has worked with the BBC in London, CNBC Asia, MTV Asia, the United Nations headquarters in New York and most recently with Channel News Asia based in Singapore.

She became the first woman of Sri Lankan descent to present on MTV and CNBC and was voted one of Singapore's 50 Most Beautiful People.
