Trance Mission is a World Music band playing primal, techno-tribal music in a similar genre as Jon Hassell and Synaesthesia. Stephen Kent and Beth Custer founded the ensemble in 1991. Kent is a didgeridoo performer, bringing the ancient Aboriginal sound into a contemporary context. Original members have included Kenneth Newby and John Loose.
