The article says complications are rare. I think this is misleading. I would say they are uncommon, but not rare. I will try to get around to updating the stats, because I don't think they reflect the evidence. The risk of a bleeding complication, if looked for (i.e. post-biopsy ultrasound), is 1-5% in large case series - this is uncommon but not rare. Complications
The article says complications are rare. I think this is misleading. I would say they are uncommon, but not rare. I will try to get around to updating the stats, because I don't think they reflect the evidence.
