Parts Per Billion is an upcoming film.[1] The film tells the story of three couples dealing with a reality-shaking event that threatens to tear them apart. The film is based on a screenplay by Brian Horiouchi, who also serves as the director.[1]

Premise

The plot consists of the interwoven stories of three couples who are forced to make life-altering decisions in the face of a disastrous war. Inspired and sometimes blinded by their love, Len (Josh Hartnett), Mia (Rosario Dawson), Andy (Frank Langella), Esther (Gena Rowlands), Anna (Teresa Palmer) and Erik (Penn Badgley) are as flawed and beautiful as any of the billions who are facing this human-made biological disaster.

Cast

Casting

Robbert Pattinson was initially cast in the film in 2008.[2] However, conflicting shooting schedules with another film, Twilight New Moon forced him to drop out in 2012[3] In 2008, it was announced that Olivia Thirby and Dennis Hopper had been cast in the film, with shooting expected to begin within a month.[2]
