Rukaribe was listed on the World of Warcraft Community website under the credits section; unfortunately after the transition to the new website this page appears to have not made the cut. It was during the winter of 2005 in Nova Scotia, Canada when this then 18 year old male created his Human Paladin that this name was invented for, prior to this the alias of spork was occasionally used on the Internet.

The name Rukaribe stems from no other source other than his own random imagination and is a corruption of his real name, Robbie. It was originally intended to be pronounced as roo-kair-ib, but was commonly pronounced as either ruka-reye-b or ruka-rib. Often in jest, pronounced as ruka-ribbie as text-to-speech software would interpret it, humorously. Most often people who knew him would simply say, 'Ruka'.

Rukaribe's proper homepage lives at www.robbiealexander.ca containing his, probably outdated, résumé as a public Google Document. There are also links to his Facebook profile and Twitter feed at the bottom. Otherwise, there is not much else there that is public. ;)

Robbie is also the CEO of a company by the name of Because Interfaces Inc. The ultimate aspirations of this company is to develop Accounting and Information Software with a strong focus on open standards, interoperability and controls, with an elegant easy to use design philosophy. He is working towards this dream by currently finishing up his Accountancy and Computing and Information Systems double major at Saint Mary's University.
