Issues is a rapcore/metalcore band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in the summer of 2012 and were signed to Velocity Records shortly after their formation. The majority of the band's members originated from the ex-members of Woe, Is Me, being Tyler Carter, Michael Bohn, Cory Ferris and Ben Ferris. Their debut EP, Black Diamonds, was released on November 13, 2012. The lead single for their upcoming EP, "King of Amarillo," was released on October 2. It was announced that they will appear on the Punk Goes Pop 5 compilation album covering "Boyfriend," originally by Justin Bieber.

Shortly after the band's formation and announcement of their first tour, member Ben Ferris decided to leave the group in order to pursue an education and work more in the business aspect of music.

In early September 2012, the band announced they'd be hitting the road in the fall for the first time on the "Party with the Devil Tour" featuring bands such as Adestria, Ice Nine Kills, Make Me Famous, and headliner/long time friends Atilla.

Bassist, Cory Ferris was unable to participate in the recording for Black Diamonds due to his lack of obtaining a flight to the recording session and also announced on October 25, 2012 that he would also not be participating in the "Party With The Devil" tour via Twitter. His lack of any possible activity in Issues along with his brother Ben's early departure led to his decision to quit the band in November. Neither brother recorded any released material with the band, as Ben had left before the rest of the band entered the studio; due to Cory's absence during the recording of Black Diamonds, bass duties were handled by keyboardist/synth player Ty Acord's brother, Skyler Acord. Skyler was later asked to join the band after the amicable departure of Jake Vintson.

On January 12, the band entered the studio to record a single titled “Hooligans.” The release date is unknown. But the single as well as title were confirmed by Tyler Acord via an interview by Youtube channel FlippenMusic Tv. The band confirmed it on an interview via youtube. The channel is called OfficialCaliberTV
