I'll Bury You Tomorrow (2002) is a low-budget independent thriller from New Millennium Pictures, LTD. and was produced by Alan Rowe Kelly, Gary Malick, Jack Malick, Tom Cadawas and Anthony Ancona. The film was in production for 3 years before it's 2002 release with Heretic Films and went on to achieve minor cult film status. A prime example of guerilla filmmaking from the early 2000's that went on to win accolades from various high profile publications such as Fangoria Magazine, Rue Morgue Magazine and MovieMaker. I'll Bury You Tomorrow received awards from The Telluride Indiefest, Key West Indiefest and New York International Independent Film & Video Festival for Best Feature and was voted Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Feature in 2003 by Next Tuesday Magazine. Composer Tom Burns' haunting score was awarded the Silver Medal of Excellence for Best Impact in Film Music category at the 2003 Park City Film Music Festival. The film is also noted for playing a disturbing role in the 2008 Wisconsin Supreme Court grave digging case of Nicholas Grunke, who was charged with digging up a corpse of a young girl after seeing the movie in 2006. Grunke told the jury that he watched I'll Bury You Tomorrow and described the actions of the movie's main character; a mortician who takes the body of a man back to her room, where she dances with him and sits with him. He was sentenced to prison for 2 years. |

==Synopsis== |
|||
Is there love after death? Only the small rural community of Port Oram can answer that. When deranged young Dolores Finley (Zoë Daelman Chlanda) appears out of nowhere to begin work at the Beech's Funeral Home, the local mortuary soon becomes more than just a quiet place of rest. Haunted by ghosts from her tormented past, Dolores joins the Beech household which includes funeral director Percival Beech (Bill Corry), his unstable, religiously fanatical wife Nettie (Katherine O'Sullivan), two very surly employees Jake (Jerry Murdock) and Corey (Alan Rowe Kelly), and a mortuary full of gruesome secrets. Soon Dolores' passion for working with cadavers will give new meaning to the phrase "disturbing the peace" in this uneasy tale of murder, mayhem, body snatching and necrophilia. |
