Music for Cars is a five track EP released by The 1975 on March 4, 2013 by Vagrant Records. It is the third of three EPs set to be released before their first full-length album.[1] Rolling Stone described the EP as a mix of "pop anthems" and "hazy, atmospheric journeys".[2]
Critical reception has been mainly positive. Paste Magazine praised The 1975's "haunting vocals" and described the eponymous single as "full of catchy hooks".[3] Nylon Magazine lauded their "accent-inflected truisms" and the use of guitars in their music.[4]
