The Center for Sex and Culture or CSC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in San Francisco, California. The organization was founded in 1994 by Carol Queen and Robert Morgan Lawrence.

Mission and Vision

The mission of the Center for Sex & Culture is "to provide judgment-free education, cultural events, a library/media archive, and other resources to audiences across the sexual and gender spectrum; and to research and disseminate factual information, framing and informing issues of public policy and public health."

Events and Membership

Recurring events include:

  • Erotic Reading Circle: Every 4th Wednesday
  • Sex Workers Writing Workshop: Every 2nd Saturday
  • SF Jacks: Every 2nd and 4th Monday
  • SF D/s Discussion Group:
