Bassy Bob AKA Bob Brockmann is a music mixer, producer, trumpet and bass player, and new media creator. Bassy Bob is best known for his mix style of featuring the vocal up front, and a tight compressed low end. Bassy Bob has mixed seminal Hip Hop and R&B record for such artists as The Fugees, Notorious BIG (biggie smalls), Craig Mack, Toni Braxton, Babyface, Cee Lo Green, SoulLive, Surface, Brian McNight, Christina Aguilera, Brandy, and Mary J Blige as well as Faith Hill, Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow, and the Dixie Chicks.[1]

Accolades Bob was nominated for Best Engineered category of the Grammy awards. He has won 34 Grammy awards, including featured wins for Christina Aguilera's Mi Reflejo (1998) and Kirk Franklin's Nu Nation project(1999). His mix for "There you'll Be" was nominated for an Academy Award for best song in 2001. He has been associated with 24 Grammy nominations. [2]

Current Bob is the owner of the Commando Room, a mixing and mastering Studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with partner Eric Gorman.
