No, No and NO! It is about how the messages get shuffled between DNS servers and how messages can have their content automatically translated from say, Spanish to Russian, or from Hindi to French, and something about storage... it is NOT about chat. Daumbass. Did you even READ the article???

what the crap does that even mean?

The article is describing how CHAT software works, I think.

What is this about? What is a Message Broker? Is this about software? What purpose does the software serve? That is to ask, what problem does it solve or what work does it help humans accomplish?

Finally, who the HELL contributes stuff like this to an encyclopedia which has presumeably as a target audience, the general public who are looking for a general understanding.
