The article is describing how CHAT software works, I think.

What is this about? What is a Message Broker? Is this about software? What purpose does the software serve? That is to ask, what problem does it solve or what work does it help humans accomplish?
Finally, who the HELL contributes stuff like this to an encyclopedia which has presumeably as a target audience, the general public who are looking for a general understanding.
