John Duffy is a free-lance, commentary tour coach captain based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, who offers a range of services to the coach and bus industry.
My speciality is enhanced personal experience tours. I incorporate commentary, artefacts, and souvenirs, with a commentary emphasizing history, culture and science, to provide the popular interactive participation of my passengers. I also provide audio-visual presentations to suit the nature of the tour.
I have years of experience driving different capacity coaches (and all transmissions proficiently, especially crash boxes). I drive day tours, extended tours, and general charters around Australia.
I am personally an advocate of road safety, especially advanced (coach) driver training and transport industry compliance.
What's the difference between a bus driver and a coach captain? A bus driver sells tickets, and a coach captain has tickets on himself.
