So simply merging this list into [[Truss bridge]] would make it very hard for someone looking for a design for a ceiling truss to find what they needed. I oppose a merge: while many of these trusses are applicable to bridge construction, others are not, and trusses are used mostly in architecture rather than bridge engineering. - Oppose per previous respondent. Trusses are used for many things other than bridges. (eg supporting ceilings in large buildings, crane booms, cars (See Ariel Atom, for a great example). So simply merging this list into Truss bridge would make it very hard for someone looking for a design for a ceiling truss to find what they needed. However: Note that we also have the article Truss. IMHO, we should merge this list into Truss and remove all of the detailed descriptions of trusses from Truss bridge. At that point, I'd take a careful look at what remains of Truss bridge and seriously consider merging that into Bridge. SteveBaker (talk) 17:19, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
