Grand Texas Theme Park is a theme park set to open near Houston, Texas, in the United States, in 2015. The park will be located in New Caney, Montgomery County at Highway 59 and FM 242.[1] Site work began in July 2013, and ground breaking is scheduled to begin in the fall. The park will feature seven theme areas related to Texas history and culture, and will include a water park and RV resort.

The 640-acre park will have seven theme areas related to Texas history and culture. It will include a water park, RV resort, dining and retail areas as well.[1]

Grand Texas will be managed by Innovative Leisure Partners.[1]

Construction

Site work began in July 2013.[2] Brae Burn Construction Company, based in Houston, will serve as the contractor for the first phase of construction. Dallas-based GHA Architects will design the park.[1] Ground breaking is planned to begin in the fall of 2013.[2]
